Yay - It's 1982 Again!

I heard this song on the radio today:

Stacy's Mom - Fountains of Wayne

Say what you will about Salt Lake, but the radio here is better than anywhere else I've been (and I used to live in LA). The End, X96, KJQ (is KJQ still going?)... great stuff. Music that is selected by DJs -- who knew that would become a luxury?

The backing vocals on this song crack me up and I dig the Cars-inspired riffs. The video can (of course) be found on YouTube, and has many Cars references as well as its own funny 1982 reference.

(Man, I'm behind the times. Apparently this song came out in 2003, before I even left the US!)

Wow you are behind the times - do you even know what MILF stands for? I'm not sure which came first this song or that acronym. And yes it is definitely a catchy tune.
